i remember the boats having distinct blue or red or green flags, showing the color of player ownership and the mini map would reflect the same. Ooh and boats that could capture other boats! you could build ships that would shoot arrows, boats that could ram other boats, boat with fire. visually I remember the map being mostly islands. there was ocean waters and many lands, controlled by opponent CPU players the key aspect to the game was naval warfare. you had to build building by collecting wood, gold and some other materials I don’t recall view was always isometric even though you could zoom in and out I’m just gonna tell you all random things I remember from it and let’s see if anyone can help: I don’t remember a lot but I remember I used to spend hours and hours playing it listening to Bollywood music from the latest hit Lagaan. I’m 26 so I believe I played that game around 2001-2002(?).
I’ve been trying to remember for many years and I’ve been looking literally in every available website on the Internet by searching keywords that might result in finding this lost game. but it still doesn’t work on my mac or pc. Edit: Found! Was Ancient Conquest: Golden Fleece.
